At For the Love Clarity, our mission is to reduce alcohol harm in the U.K with a fresh, inspiring and creative approach. Smash the stereotype and change the narrative around alcohol addiction and recovery. Let people know that alcohol does not discriminate. That is can impact CEO's, Lawyers and Professional people just as much as it can impact anybody else. Nobody is immune, it is just a well kept secret.
The Problem: We know for certain that far more people are struggling to moderate, that lives are negatively and destructively being impacted through a toxic relationship with alcohol, to a much later effect than than public stats and data show. It is a secret we have been keeping for generations and more needs to be done to let people know that hope lives, that people just like them have made a change they never thought they could.
Millions of people right now are functioning on the outside, but mentally and physically deteriorating on the inside. And the worst thing is, this suffering is in silence and shrouded in shame.
Our Approach:
1. We intend to specifically target our efforts at reducing that shame. We will do this by getting sobriety seen through media, events, campaigns, speaking, and every creative method in-between.
2. We also intend to build a comprehensive resource library to help people on their journey, help them make local connections and raise awareness of all the amazing sobriety support that is already available, that people may just not be aware of.
This knowing and access to nationwide support and communities can and will inspire change in people for good. Impacting individuals, friends, families, communities and little by little it can change our culture and society as a whole, leading to a healthier happier future for all.
Who are we, our mission and the support we are seeking
We need your help in so many other ways than simply traditional financial support alone. Media, Speaking, Employee Awareness, Events, Partnerships! Help us get Sobriety Seen #ILoveClarity
