After a fast-paced career in events and marketing spanning over a decade, her life underwent a transformative shift as she began her entrepreneurial ventures.
Lindsey’s first limited company, a corporate events agency set the stage for her next purposeful mission. The Mums Enterprise Roadshow, Child-friendly events helping mums find work, start or grow a business. Over three years the events attracted thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors and sponsors. It was a remarkable achievement and an example of Lindsey’s grit, determination, and fiery entrepreneurial spirit.
But Lindsey had been struggling in silence with her mental health since becoming pregnant with her second child whilst continuing to run her thriving, growing business. She broke down, the company closed which just exacerbated her depression and now deep grief.
Returning to her corporate career, 2022 marked a profound turning point as she dedicated herself to a time of deep personal growth and healing after embarking on a life of sobriety. Through her own learning and experiences of a secret and shameful relationship with alcohol, Lindsey was compelled to act and launched, "For the Love of Clarity” a brand-new U.K Charity and soul mission.
Lindsey ignited her purpose through the charities work, creative media campaigns which raise the voices of the sober community, helping those suffering in secrecy, silence and shame know they are not alone. #iloveclarity is more than a hashtag; it's a movement to reduce shame and inspire change.
Her story is a beacon of hope that we can all find strength, purpose, and ultimately, clarity, and that maybe life happens FOR us. Watch this space for Lindsey's ongoing journey, where she is making a difference one sober voice at a time.
